General Questions

You can register with the driving school at the earliest six months before you have reached the minimum age of the respective driving license class.

You need these documents to apply for a driving license:

  1. a valid identity card or passport.

  2. a biometric passport photo

  3. certificate of participation in a "first aid course"

  4. an eye exam

First aid courses are offered in every city, for example by the Red Cross, the Maltese or similar. You can take an eye exam at any optician or ophthalmologist.

If you regularly attend theory lessons and do driving lessons, it takes three to five months to get your driver's license. If you want your driving license to be on time for your birthday, it is enough to register with us at the Kydd driving school six months in advance.

If you register early and make appointments or are flexible in your choice of dates, we can quickly train you since there’s five driving instructors.

That's fine. If you want to save time and money, it definitely makes sense.

Theoretical and practical exams take place every week at TÜV Freising.

It is possible to change driving schools at any time. If you notice during the theory class that the driving school itself or the teaching driving instructor do not appeal to you, you can have a training certificate issued at any time to switch to our driving school.

Of course, you can choose your driving instructor freely.

Yes, you can also get this driver's license from us. Assuming you are at least 25 years old and have had driving license class B for at least 5 years. For the driving license of class A1 with key number B196, 4 theory lessons of 90 minutes each, 5 practical driving hours of 90 minutes are mandatory. No practice test or theory test is required.

No, the simulator is voluntary. You decide whether and how many driving hours you would like to complete on the driving simulator. However, we always advise you to sit at the simulator for an hour in advance, as it has a calming effect on the further learning path, relieves stress, motivates and offers quick learning success. In addition, the driving lesson on the simulator is cheaper than a normal driving lesson.

Costs

Of course, an average costs for a driver's license could be calculated, but the learner driver himself still has the greatest influence on the price. Our learner drivers are trained using the federal driver learner training regulations. It describes which goals in driver training should be achieved and ensures nationwide uniform training in driving schools.

When you register, you only have to pay the basic fee.
